The FOREST, New Instagram spots in Mong Kok
Mong Kok is extremely photogenic, Ladies' Market, Langham Place, Red Minibus stop, you name it. One of the new landmarks in Mong Kok, The Forest, has quite some hidden photo spots over there which you might have missed.
The Forest is located in Fa Yuen Street where it is famous of sneakers shops for decades. It was rebuilt as a residential and commercial complex in recent years.
Besides the sports gear shops, there is a roof garden on the third floor. However, the view there is disappointing.
Not only the size of the garden is small, but also visitors can only see the view of Sai Yee Street (behind the Forest) instead of Fa Yuen Street (the front) full of sneakers shops.
Actually, better Instagram spots are somewhere else. Go down to Level 2. You will find a bridge full of windows which looks like this:
So you can take photos of the junction.
Also there is another spot at Level 2 with similar settings where you can take photos of the buildings across the street. Very instagrammable.
