Canton Road Shopping in Wet Market, Not Luxury Brands like Dior Chanel Gucci!

Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui is famous of shopping luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Christian Dior etc. However Canton Road is actually so long that it goes all the way to Prince Edward and Mong Kok and the experience is completely different!

Canton Road indeed has four section, one in Tsim Sha Tsui with luxury shopping of Gucci which is the most popular among tourists when they travel in Hong Kong, one section in Jordan with jewellery, one in Yau Mai Tei and one in Mong Kok and Prince Edward.

Even though the Canton Road section in Mong Kok doesn’t have Louis Vuitton, there is a big wet market where you can find local people doing grocery shopping there. People yelling to sell on the street, which is very good way to experience local life when you are travelling in Hong Kong.

The perfect timing to visit this section of Canton Road is between 4-7pm when local people are shopping there, which can be quite crowded and noisy indeed, but that is a good activity to do before dinner time!
