“Cocky” Neon Signs

When numerous neon lights have been demolished in Hong Kong, this pawn shop in Wan Chai is showing off by keeping their two neon lights, facing the same direction, with almost the same function.

I wonder what the reasons are by putting a sign on top of the same one. What’s your guess?
