This coffee in Hong Kong was super mysterious!
You know the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in Hong Kong? They’ve been around for a while, fighting corruption since the 1960s and 70s. Back then, getting “invited for coffee” by the ICAC meant you were being questioned. Now, they’ve got a café called the “1974 Café” to celebrate their 50 years of fighting corruption.
The ICAC Café is all about educating people about anti-corruption. You can sip on their delicious coffee and check out interactive displays and exhibits about the ICAC’s history and ongoing efforts. They even have photo spots with props and backdrops related to the ICAC’s work, and a photo booth with different frames. And guess what? They have a vending machine that sells their souvenirs, which always sell out.
